Anfloy vs AI agencies.
We're not an agency. Agencies sell labor by the hour - they run your campaigns, write your content, manage your outreach - and when you stop paying, the work stops. We build agentic systems that you own and that keep running whether we're on the engagement or not. The asset compounds. The dependency doesn't.
Why not just use AI agency?
Traditional agency or AI consultancy. The table reads AI agency on the left, Anfloy on the right - both honest.
Hours of human labor.
A shipped system that runs on its own.
Work stops. Output disappears.
Nothing changes. The system keeps running.
Their tools, their accounts, their templates.
Your repo, your accounts, your stack.
Their playbook applied to your business.
Your business mapped first, then built against.
Recurring retainer, hours-based.
Flat fee per shipped system. No retainers.
Account managers + outsourced ops.
Senior engineers - same hands build and support.
When an agency is the right call
- You explicitly want work done for you indefinitely - not built once and owned.
- Your workflow is highly variable, week to week, and can't be systematized.
- You need humans in the loop on every output (e.g. judgment-heavy creative).
- You don't want to own anything technical and prefer the agency carrying that load.
When Anfloy is the right call
- You'd rather own the system than rent the result.
- Your workflow is repeatable enough that a system can run it 24/7.
- You want margin to compound - agency retainers don't, systems do.
- You want senior engineers building, not account managers managing.
- You expect the engagement to end. Most do - and our clients keep their systems.
Anfloy vs AI agency, answered.
Aren't you just a fancy agency?
No - and the structural difference is the test. When the engagement ends, does the work keep producing output? With us, yes: the agent is in your repo, running on your infra, and we have no access. With an agency, no: the people leave, and so does the work. Different category.
Do you do retainers?
Only as a Monthly Partnership where the deliverable is shipped systems each month - never as 'pay us for hours.' Each month begins with a scoping session for what to ship. You can cancel at any 30-day cycle after the 3-month minimum.
Why isn't this category bigger already?
Because the toolchain to build it cheaply only matured in 2025. Pre-Claude-3.7, building production-grade agents was 10× the cost it is now. The market is catching up; we're already shipped.
What about hybrid - agency for ops, you for systems?
Common pattern. Agencies for human-judgment work; Anfloy for systematizable work. We'll happily ship a system that hands work off to your agency or to your in-house ops team.
